In October I hit the trails running, this time dressed up as Rambo! one of the dogs I was caring for. Otherwise it was a fairly quiet month on the adventure side, which zoomed by as usual.
Publishing Status
Writing: I finished writing the first draft of The Chosen (Book 2 in the Armageddon’s Descendants trilogy). It ended just under 100,000 words, but I expect it will get a little longer as I have to go back and fill in some of the action scenes and set groundwork for the ending surprise. Once I had finished the first draft, I put writing aside to focus on all the editing and marketing projects that needed my attention.

Editing: I finished the final draft of The Collective, have ordered proof copies, and will be going through the story one final time (along with a few proofreaders). I also edited two short stories, the new novel Monsoon Rendezvous and have almost finished Cognitive Breach (the novella). Things are moving fast! I just might have three books launching in three back to back months (Jan 15, Feb 15, March 15). Once Cognitive Breach is done being edited, it will go back to the editor for a final copy edit before proofreads. While that’s happening, I’ll be heading back into The Chosen to work on draft two before it has to go either to Alpha readers (if there’s time) or direct to my developmental editor.
Marketing: I pushed the marketing a little in October, posting nearly every day on a number of social platforms. Given the organic reach and the time spent working on it, I think I’m better off focusing on writing more books, then looking at Ads and more marketing. But I’ll continue to update you social with fun highlights along the way, so follow me everywhere!

The World of The Genesis Project:
Manuscript: Monsoon Rendezvous is complete and will launch on January 15th in Digital and Paperback. Cognitive Breach is still in the editing phase, along with having artwork done, so it will likely be available February 15th or March 15th. I have plans for a prequel to The Genesis Project as another novel to write next year! We’ll see, it’s early.
Publication: The Genesis Project is live and on sale everywhere. Monsoon Rendezvous is available for pre-order everywhere (launches January 15th).

Book 1: The Collective
Manuscript: The Collective has moved to the final proof stage! The hope will be to launch the book March 15th if Cognitive Breach is ready for February 15th.
Book 2: The Chosen
Manuscript: The Chosen first draft is complete and waiting for me to go through the second draft in the coming month.

Manuscript: The first draft is completed. I’ll go back to this one likely in 2025 / 2026.

Manuscript: The first draft is complete at just over 104,000 words! It’s in the cue for 2025 / 2026.
