2025 is Here—And So Are New Adventures! Cover Reveal & More!
Cover Reveal
Ready for your 2025 reading list? I’m thrilled to reveal the cover of my latest military psychological thriller, COGNITIVE BREACH!
A terrorist bomb. A brilliant scientist. And the classified technology that can extract secrets from dreams.
When the Department of Homeland Security raids a suspected terrorist cell, they capture Dr. Lena Kurov—an AI architect whose innovations harbor deadly potential. After investigators fail to break her silence, the team behind Genesis, a breakthrough PTSD treatment system, offers a radical alternative: using their nightmare-altering technology to extract information from her dreams.
For Captain David Guarnere, leading the Genesis mission means navigating both tactical and psychological warfare. As he infiltrates Kurov’s dreams, he uncovers a deadly conspiracy involving AI weapons and the mysterious Prometheus Guild. But his growing connection to Kurov threatens everything.
The clock is ticking. Thousands of lives hang in the balance. And in the battlefield of dreams, empathy might be the deadliest weapon of all.
Overview
Happy New Year!
Thank you to everyone who supported The Genesis Project in June and the Kickstarter for The Collective in October.
What are your goals for 2025? Here are some of mine:
- Publish two novellas and three full-length novels (and finish the Kickstarter with one more special edition for book two and a box set for book three in the trilogy).
- 10x my annual book sales.
- Continue to publish a short story every month for my newsletter subscribers.
- Massively increase my social media following and double my newsletter subscribers.
- Build my Street Team with a focus on reader engagement, ARC feedback, and book reviews.
- Read 24 books.
December was a busy month, mostly focused on editing The Collective to get the digital copy ready for backers—released to them on Boxing Day—and working on Monsoon Rendezvous. I also carved out time to write part of a new short story (not including the one sent to my newsletter subscribers in mid-December).
On a personal note, I have a new addition to my family: a 10-month-old beagle/Australian shepherd mix! After the heartbreaking loss of the litter of puppies I was expecting a puppy from, I found this amazing dog in need of a home. She’s full of energy, has a zest for life, and I can’t wait to make her my running partner.
That said, having a new dog during the holiday rush has been a challenge! I overbooked boarding dogs without realizing I’d have one of my own, so the holidays were chaotic.

Writing:
December wasn’t the most productive month for writing, but I did manage to carve out some time for a short story (not including the one shared with my newsletter subscribers mid-month). Still, it feels like I haven’t written in months compared to my usual pace. I’m looking forward to diving back in when I start Book Three of The Armageddon’s Descendants trilogy.
Editing:
Most of my time this month went into editing. I focused on The Collective—released to backers on Boxing Day—and Monsoon Rendezvous, gearing up for its January 15th launch. Meanwhile, The Chosen is still with my developmental editor and should be returned soon.
Marketing:
Marketing took a backseat again in December, but I made an exciting move by hiring a marketing agency to help with branding, voice, and promotions. With their support, I hope to hit more of my 2025 goals and connect more readers with my books. Keep an eye out for changes in the coming months!
